Vehicle Size Guide

Compact

Usually up to 160 inches in length, two doors, 90 cubic feet volume between passenger and cargo areas.  Examples
include but are not limited to:

  • Mini Cooper

  • Kia Rio

  • Mazda Miata

  • Toyota Yaris

  • Honda Fit

  • Ford Fiesta

Small

Usually 160-180 inches in length with 100-110 cubic feet volume between passenger and cargo area.  Some convertibles fall in this category.  Examples include but are not limited to:

  •  Toyota Corolla

  • Honda Civic

  • Mazda M3

  • Nissan Versa

  • Chevrolet Volt

  • Ford Fusion

  • Volkswagen Golf

Midsize

Usually 110 – 120 cubic feet volume and up to 197 inches in length.  Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Ford Mustang

  • Chevrolet Camaro

  • Ford Escape

  • Volkswagen Jetta

  • Tesla 3, X, Y

  • Kia Optima

  • Nissan Altima

Large

Usually four door sedans and some smaller pickups.  About 120-130 cubic feet volume and up to 201 inches in length.  Examples include but are not limited to:

  •  Porsche Panamera

  • Ford Ranger

  • Chevrolet Impala

  • Chrysler 300

  • Subarus

  • Dodge Charger

  • Tesla S

Truck

Most pickup trucks will fall in to this category.  Exceptions are smaller trucks like the Maverick or Ranger (which are considered Large).  Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Full sized trucks at least ½ ton.

  • Ford F150-F350

  • Chevy Silverado 1500-3500

  • Dodge Ram

  • Toyota Tundra

SUV/Van/Minivan

Full size SUV’s and all minivans.  Examples include but are not limited to:

  • Ford Explorer/Expedition

  • Chevrolet Tahoe/Yukon/Suburban

  • Toyota Sequoia

  • Jeep Wagoneer/Cherokee

  • All minivans
